How to Cook Taco Meat?

how do i cook meat for tacos? How to Cook Taco Meat?
just stir fry some ground beefHow to Cook Taco Meat?
In a pan. I wouldn't use ground beef, I'd use thin-sliced leftover steak. That's the best. Or if you have to use ground beef, heat up a pan, fry it with some onions and garlic, toss some ground cumin, pepper, salt, garlic/onion powder. You could also do shredded chicken. Snip breasts into pieces, then sautee in a pan with some lemon pepper seasoning, if you don't have that, use lemon juice, and then pepper, salt, garlic powder. Saute it with onions as well.
TACO MEAT FILLING

1 lb. ground beef, chicken or turkey

8 oz. tomato sauce

3/4 tsp. salt

1/2 c. chopped onion

1 tsp. chili powder

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Brown meat. Stir or chop until crumbly. Drain fat. Stir in other ingredients. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Add to taco shells and garnish as desired.
ground beef? just brown 1 pd, drain grease, add usually about 1/4 cup water and a package of taco seasoning, cook for a few more minutes and serve.
Its real easy

Brown the mince in a very small amnt of oil, Drain, then add the sauce and simmer
Put the meat in a hot pan. Add salt, pepper, garlic, and cummin (I like to add lots of each). Break it up and mix it around as it browns.

This is what I do and I love it more than any other taco meat.
For chicken tacos, I mix shredded chicken, can of black beans (drained), can of diced tomatoes, cilantro, garlic powder and cumin. Simmer on low-med for 15-20 minutes. Squirt with juice of a lime. Serve on white corn tortilla's with cheese.

You can buy precooked rotisserie chicken and shred it in tot he skillet, or just cook some chicken breasts and shred them. I'd cook them by placing them in a skillet and sprinkling them lightly with salt, pepper and cumin. Cover. When they are white about 1/2 -3/4 of the way up, remove lid, flip them over and cook for an addition 5-10 minutes. Cut one half to be sure it is cooked all the way through...there will be no pink when cooked through.
What kind of tacos do you want to make?

-Ground beef tacos are pretty straightforward -- mix up a seasoning you like (a favorite chili powder will be fine, with a bit of salt), brown some hamburger and onions, and add the seasoning.

-Mexican pulled pork -- either citrus-marinated carnitas or chili-like pork tinga (which can also be made with chicken or beef) -- is very nice. In my house we use carnitas in quesadillas.

-If you've got a rotisserie you can make tacos al pastor, which is essentially a stack of sliced pork slow-cooked in the same way as gyros or shawarmas.

-I'm not sure how often it's done, but you can probably make tacos with chopped-up chorizo as well.

Recipes for all of those should be fairly easy to find.
Brown the ground beef.

Drain the excess grease.

Season with Salt, Pepper, Garlic powder, Ground Cumin and Chili Powder.
